The Difference Begins with our 147 Airwolf Volunteers

Many of our Squadron activities would not take place if it wasn't for our volunteer members.

Here are a variety of ways volunteers can give their time:

147 Airwolf Air Cadets Parent Society or also known as the Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC) welcomes both parents and their community friends to volunteer, support and help our cadets have the best programs possible, giving them unique opportunities to grow into adulthood.

All volunteers are considered as a team player and their contributions, no matter how small or large, are very important to the Squadron as a whole, from the Officers to the Sponsoring Committee.

The SSC and its partners, the Air Cadet League of Canada (ACLC), the British Columbia Provincial Committee (BCPC) and the Department of National Defence (DND) jointly support the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, a premier youth organization. The program is a comprehensive program which is facilitated in a structured, disciplined and safe manner.

The military will be responsible for screening the volunteers of the Canadian Forces, both Regular and Reserve as well as contracted Civilian Instructors.

The SSC is responsible for the registration and screening of non-military personal, such as parents, members of the community and other civilians. These registration and screening protocols meet the same standard required by our military partners.

Volunteer Registration

All volunteer's Registration/Screening is valid for 5 years as long as the volunteer remains in good standing.

We thank you for your generous offer of volunteer services and hope you understand the both the legal and moral obligation of the League in reviewing the suitability of all individuals working or involved with youth.

Read Application Letter & Complete the Application Form

STEP 2

Complete an online Enhanced Police Information Check (E-PIC)

Please note that other criminal record checks from other organizations are not accepted.

STEP 3

Screening Director will contact applicant for an interview.

STEP 4

Package is reviewed by the League.

STEP 5

Screening Director will contact you regarding application status.
