Helping the Royal Canadian Legion

We have been asked by the Royal Canadian Legion to help with their Poppy Campaign. Poppy sales are an important annual fundraiser that supports the Legion Community programs.

Volunteer Hours

This work may be credited as volunteer hours for school, and is part of the citizenship portion of the cadet curriculum. The tagging is designed by the Legion to be COVID-safe. Full briefings on safety will be given on site.

Drop-off and Pick-up Instructions

Cadets must be picked up and dropped off at the Princess Armouries by parents and also driven to their Poppy Tagging location. Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift starts. An officer will carry out COVID screening prior to starting your shift.

147 AIRWOLF COMMUNITY AMBASSADORS

Part of the focus of the Air Cadet Program is community involvement and developing cadets to be good citizens. At 147, we are incredibly proud of what our cadets do within our community, and we like to showcase their volunteer involvement and inspire others.
